Street Art as Satire

(Banksy, Social Issues, https://giannanicole.wordpress.com/2012/10/23/social-issues-artist/)

Street art can express whatever the artist wants their audience to see. As you can see from the first picture the artist is trying to show their audience of the first world problems we have. The picture also shows that we don't understand or know the struggles of third world countries and only complain about a day of the week. The second picture  is a little kid remaking what he sees in his environment most likely due to radiation he is wearing a gas mask. The second picture I believe means that we risk soldiers lives to get money no matter how many we lose as long as the united states makes a profit. The point of satire street art is to show people the troubles going on in our world that we either don't know about or don't care about.
